How to adjust the HÅG Futu Mesh 1100?
The HÅG Futu Mesh is designed to be easily adjusted to your body and working posture. Follow these steps to perfectly set up your chair:
Step 1: Adjust seat height
- Use the lever underneath the left side of the seat to adjust the height.
- Ensure your feet are flat on the ground and that there is an open angle between your thighs and upper body (>90 degrees).
Step 2: Adjust seat depth
- Press the button underneath the right side of the seat and slide the backrest forward or backward.
- The seat depth is correctly adjusted when there is 3-4 fingers’ space between the seat and your knee hollows, preventing pressure on blood vessels.
Step 3: Adjust lumbar support (optional)
- If you have a lumbar support, it can be adjusted in height by sliding it up with both hands.
- Ensure the support is just above your belt line for optimal support. To lower it, first push it all the way up, then slide it down.
Step 4: Adjust tilt resistance
- Use the sliding knob underneath the seat on the right side to adjust the tilt resistance.
- Turn outward: lighter tilt motion.
- Turn inward: heavier tilt motion.
Step 5: Lock the tilt mechanism
- The sliding knob underneath the seat on the left side lets you lock the chair in a horizontal position.
- We recommend keeping the chair unlocked to allow it to follow your movements throughout the day.
Step 6: Adjust armrests (optional)
- Adjust the height of the armrests using the button on the inside of the armrests.
- The armrests can also be easily moved forward, backward, and sideways for optimal support while typing.
